Great News! Google can now index Flash sites

Great News for Google offical blog of this week in seach engine and web development world. The offical google blog announced that Google has learned to crawl Flash content. Matt Cutts from Google Share 5 SEO Tips

Accroding to USA Today, they recently asked Matt Cutts from Google for tips to help sites rank in higher in their search engine. He has summarise 5 tips and a word of advice in implementing the tips. 

  1. Spotlight your search term on the page. If you want to be found for your keyword, make sure that term is on the page you want to rank. The term should be at the top as well as peppered throughout your copy.
  2. Fill in your tags. The two most important tags are Title and Description. That's what is displayed on the search results.
  3. Get other sites to link back to you. This is one of the most important of the 100 factors Google considers when ranking sites
  4. Create a blog and post often. This can help you get links.
  5. Register for free tools. Cutts recommends using the tools at google.com/webmaster, as well as creating a text-based sitemap www.xml-sitemaps.com, and adding your business to Google's Local Business center (google.com/local/add)

Internet treat links from another site that leads to yours is a vote for the popularity and importance of your website. Every links you receive can improve your search engine ranking.

A high traffic, well know website that links to your website a quality inbound links for your website is more vital than the low traffic, less know website links. A website need more valuable link is from sites that are relevant to your industry (niche) with authority. A quality website directory with relevant categories is an example. Quality link is have more valuable that hundreds of less quality.

Think about what is your relevant websites that in same or similar industry to yours. Or even an organization or government department (A website that is finishing with .org , .gov or .org.nz , .govt.nz in NZ held higher weighting than .com or .co.nz website). Send them an email and introduce yourself. Your products and services and explain how your could benefit to their visitors. Politely suggest them to create a link to your website. Monitor Your Results

Over the time you should watch your result by doing Google search for your previous chosen key phrases and see how the rank of your website is. You can also monitor where your visitors are coming from and what key phrase they search and visited your website. Your web hosting should be able to provide a hosting report like Webalizer. Alternatively you can apply Google Analytics for free at Google. It is a very good website traffic activity monitoring system.

Continue to update your websites and build more links to your website over time. It is an ongoing tasks as long as you want visitors to your website. Check your result of your efforts then you should see the traffic improvement and make more sales. Find where your visitors are coming from so you can continually monitor your Internet marketing efforts, rinse and repeat.
